It has come to my attention that there is a misunderstanding that I feel I should clear up. Some members are under the impression that only I cannot give out medical advice and the rest of the community is free to say what they want.  I wanted to clarify that this is not the case. No one can give anyone advice on starting or stopping a substance, prescription or otherwise. Beloved collaborator, long-time community member, soma wizard and host of the popular monthly zoom “Soma and Shamanism” David Samas has been MIA for a couple months since leading Solstice ceremonies with Dreamer in San Francisco due to severe illness and a rough recovery. He hopes to be able to rejoin the community as host of the shamanism zoom and cohost of the practitioners’ zoom in November but in the meantime he is struggling to feed his kids and cover his medical costs until the doctors clear him to work again- which may not happen until January.
